A native of Hingham, MA, Brian was selected in the 1st Round, 26th overall in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft by the Los Angeles Kings. He made his NHL debut with the Kings in 2008 and was traded to the Rangers the following season. After five seasons with the Rangers, Brian then played for the Tampa Bay Lighting, The Toronto Maple Leafs and is now a member of the New Jersey Devils. Brian has been to the Stanley Cup Final twice, and he leads the NHL in playoff games played since the 2010-11 season. In 2018 Brian was awarded the Bill Masterson Trophy which is awarded annually to the National Hockey League player who best exemplifies the qualities of perseverance, sportsmanship, and dedication to ice hockey.
